Roger Riccard

Roger Riccard has Scottish roots, which trace his lineage back to the Roses of Highland, Scotland. This ancestry encouraged his interest in the writings of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. He is now the author of more stories featuring the world’s first consulting detective than Doyle wrote.
He lives in a suburb of Los Angeles. When not editing Watson’s notes of Sherlock Holmes adventures, he is singing with a group which entertains at retirement homes, or watching baseball, crime dramas, musicals and old movies (Thank you, Turner Classics!) and British mysteries on BBC America.
“Roger Riccard is an extremely good pastiche writer. Personally, I think the best since the late Val Andrews passed over Reichenbach” – Joel Senter, publisher of the Sherlockian E-Times
“Roger Riccard’s Sherlock Holmes stories remind you why you love Sherlock Holmes” David Marcum
“It was as though Doyle had crafted these stories himself.” Amazon review of Riccard’s Sherlock Holmes: Adventures for the Twelve Days of Christmas
“Well told … neatly constructed plots … eminently readable and enjoyable … amply suffused with Canonical references … I thoroughly recommend it” Roger Johnson, Editor of the Sherlock Holmes Journal
